As a booming mine town to a bustling ski town, Telluride still has it’s Victorian town feel and Wilde West Image, with brick hotels and clapboard storefronts.
There is excellent accommodation in town, within a stone’s throw of the gondola and numerous shops, restaurants and pubs for the avid apre skier. There is a gondola right in town but there is also the separate mountain village, which id surrounded by some of the highest , most magnificent peaks in the San Juan mountains.
