Silver Star is a quaint on mountain resort, with Victorian type buildings painted in an array of colours in an otherwise white wilderness. Accommodation is ski in / ski out and with over 3000 skiable acres one area of the mountain offering groomed cruisers, the other area offers some great steep groomed advanced runs as well as tight mogul runs and extreme double diamonds, that will keep the more seasoned expert skiers more than content.
Silver Star is more suited for families or people who just love their skiing. Although it does not offer much apre, there are a number of great restaurants, a fantastic wine bar and of course, Long Johns Pub in the village. Silver Star also offers tubing, ice skating and mini snowmobile rides for the kids.
